‘There is no comparison between Shaheen and Aamir’

The head coach of Lahore Qalandars said on a digital show on Tuesday that there is “no comparison” between the two fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Amir.

Aqib Javed spoke on the show launched by Qalandars discussing the biggest rivalry in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) between the defending champions and the Karachi Kings in the build-up to PSL 8.

Javed said that Karachi Kings are not even close to Lahore Qalandars as far as fast bowling is concerned.

He further said that ‘There is no match between Shaheen and Amir, Haris Rauf and Mir Hamza, Zaman Khan and Aamir Yameen, yes, they have good spin bowling options but we have strong fast bowling’.

Like every other PSL fan, Javed is excited to see the two rivals clash in this year’s edition.

Babar vs. Shaheen

As Babar Azam moved to Peshawar Zalmi as captain, the Qalandars now see their match against Zalmi as well.

“Fans enjoy Babar vs Shaheen, and so do I. As Babar will play for Peshawar now, I think our matchup against him will also generate popularity,” he said.

Shaheen v. Wade

Australia’s Matthew Wade smashed Pakistan’s hopes of qualifying for the T20 World Cup 2021 final with three maximum sixes off Shaheen Afridi.

Since then Pakistani fans have been waiting to see Shaheen vs Wade once again. Wade was selected by the Kings for this year’s PSL. So, Pakistani fans will finally get to see Shaheen vs Wade in PSL.
