Shadab Khan announced his NIKKAH with Saqlain Mushtaq’s daughter.

Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan on Monday announced his marriage to the daughter of the team’s current head coach and veteran cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq.

Taking to the microblogging website, the 24-year-old cricketer shared a tweet updating fans with a note about the major developments in his life.

He tweeted, “Alhamdulillah, today is my marriage. It’s a big day in my life and the beginning of a new chapter. Please respect my choice and the choice of [my] wife and our family. Everyone. Prayers and love,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Khan’s note read that he was becoming part of his “consultant butler brother’s family”.

The young fast bowler spoke about his choice to always keep his family life separate from work, saying that his family also chose to stay away from public life.

“My wife has said the same, she wants her life to be private.

The cricketer sarcastically wrote about the greetings received. “| Will send an account number,” he wrote in his note.

Shadab’s tweet received 138.5k views, over 8000 likes, over 500 retweets, and 700 retweets within an hour.

It’s the season of wedding bells for Pakistani cricketers, as batsman Shaun Masood also tied the knot with fiancee Neshe Khan in an intimate Nikah ceremony held in Peshawar on Friday (January 20).

While a day later, the great cricketer Misbah-ul-Haq, Umar Gul, Azhar Ali and batsman Imam-ul-Haq participated in his procession. Masood will also host a Walima feast for his friends and family in Karachi on January 27.

The 6 feet 6 inch fast bowler is engaged to the daughter of former national cricket team captain Shahid Afridi.

The farewell ceremony of Afridi’s daughter Insha Afridi is expected later.
