Only Jamaat-e-Islami can put Pakistan on the right track: Siraj ul Haq

Islamist leader Sirajul Haq, the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami in Lahore, Pakistan, recently declared that capitalism is a system that exploits people everywhere.

During Friday prayers at the Mansura University Mosque in the provincial capital, he made these remarks to a big crowd.

According to the Jamaat’s leader, only God’s system could alleviate humanity’s woes, and that system could not coexist with Pakistan’s interest-based economy. According to Sirajul Haq, those who have perpetuated a system of interest in the country would have to answer to Allah and to the people for their actions.

In order to serve Allah and build the Islamic system of fairness and justice, he said, Jamaat-e-Islami called for the liberation of slaves from the oppression of the slave owners.

The Jamaat-e-Islami was the only organisation capable of leading Pakistan in the correct direction, according to the JI’s leader.

Siraj-ul-Haq claimed that the power of the unified parties was, in fact, a continuation of the previous government’s power.

The country’s three major political parties ruled in turn, providing the people nothing. Indians were duped by the slogan “Roti, Kapra, and Makan” and those who dubbed the country an Asian tiger, he remarked. He threw down the gauntlet to the N-League, PPP, and PTI, directing them to inform the public of their achievements.

Instead of altering the faces, the people had to change the system for the sake of the country’s survival.

Only the Islamic system has the power to alter the course of events in this country and the people who live inside it. Humanity had been subjugated by the usurious economy. There was a lot of debt all around the country.

Jamaat-e-Islami attempted to persuade people that they should no longer rely on the familiar faces.
