Lahore Qalandars award their skipper Shaheen Afridi with a brand new car as part of the Pakistan Super League.
Shaheen Shah Afridi, a fast bowler for the Lahore Qalandars, and the Pakistan cricket team, gets a brand-new car as a reward for his work with both teams.
Afridi was given a brand-new Toyota Revo a few months after his team won the Pakistan Super League 7 title for the first time by beating Multan Sultans in the final.
Qalandars reportedly held an event for captain Shaheen Shah Afridi to thank him for his work for the team, and CEO Atif Rana gave the 22-year-old a car.
A tweet from the team says, “Thank you for being such a great example of how talent and hard work pay off.”
The last time the country’s most important cricket tournament was held, Afridi led from the front by taking the most wickets. In 13 matches, the 22-year-old got 20 wickets, with an average of 19.70 and an economy rate of 7.57.
The left-handed pacer also came in fourth in the latest International Cricket Council rankings for both Test and One-Day International cricket (ICC).
