Emirates flights will leave from Dubai for London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Chicago and Toronto. Flights will also go to Sydney and Melbourne subject to government approval.

The resumption of flights offers passengers travelling between the UK and Australia another connection point in Dubai. Earlier this week, Etihad announced it would begin flying from Melbourne to the UK through Abu Dhabi on Friday, May 15.

The Emirates website states that it will be offering “seamless connection in Dubai for customers flying between the UK and Australia.

Emirates stipulates that travelers will only be accepted on these flights “if they comply with the eligibility and entry criteria requirements of their destination countries.”

These precautionary measures include temperature scans on arrival, protective screens at check-in counters, the mandatory wearing of gloves and masks, and a modified in-flight service.

Emirates advises travellers to check emirates.com for more information and details on how to book flights.
