Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises have announced their brand ambassadors and sponsors for the eighth edition of the tournament next year.
The brand ambassadors include Haris Rauf of Lahore Qalandars, Mohammad Amir of Karachi Kings, Sarfraz Ahmed of Quetta Gladiators, Asif Ali of Islamabad United and Shahnawaz Dahani of Multan Sultans.
Shoaib Malik of Karachi Kings, Colin Munro of Islamabad United and Umar Akmal of Quetta Gladiators will serve as player mentors for their respective franchises. The players draft for PSL Season 8 will be held on December 15 in Karachi.
The PCB has already revealed the draft order, with defending champions Lahore Qalandars picking first.
The second and third picks will go to Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans respectively. The fourth and fifth picks will be made by Karachi Kings and Islamabad United respectively. Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi will make the sixth choice.
PSL 8 is scheduled from February 9 to March 19 in Karachi, Multan, Rawalpindi and Lahore. Pakistan’s all-format captain and the most successful batsman of the tournament recently left Karachi Kings.
